Planet Terror Comes to DVD October 16!

Source:  IGN
It may not have burned up the box office but it looks like it's time to enter the Grindhouse again!

In a story from our friends at IGN, it seems like The Weinstein Company is trying to get the most bang out of their buck in terms on how they release the two films in the Grindhouse series. It looks like Death Proof and Planet Terror are going to come out in "two separate, extended and unrated DVDs."

Death Proof the film from Quentin Tarantino is going to have "over 30 minutes of additional, never-before-seen footage including the maddening 'missing reel' (containing the excised lapdance sequence) as well as a black and white segment in the film's second act."

Death Proof will come to DVD September 18 and will sell for $29.95.

DVD Features:
- Finding Quentin's Gals
- The Guys of Death Proof
- Kurt Russell as Stuntman Mike
- Introducing Zoe Bell
- Quentin's Greatest Collaborator: Editor Sally Menke
- Double Dare trailer
- International Poster Gallery

Robert Rodriguez' offering, Planet Terror, is going to come "with more footage, deleted scenes, a full commentary and the infamous missing reel." Planet Terror comes out October 16 and will sell for $29.95.

DVD Features:
- Audio Commentary with Writer/Director Robert Rodriguez
- International trailer
- Deleted Scenes
- Cooking School
- 10-Minute Film School
- The Stunts
- The Make-up and Effects
- The Badass Babes
- The Renegade Guys
- The Costumes
- The Production Design

after about 2 or 3 months on the market, I bet they release Grindhouse as a whole DVD. so people should relax, they'll still get to see this amazing movie as they should... the weinsteins are just trying to squeeze out every dollar they can. they know that the die hard fans will go buy Planet Terror and Death Proof when they come out... then turn around and buy them again when there sold together on a special edition $40 DVD

I would rather have them released together but, I will buy them both regardless. Death Proof was a far better film than Planet Terror but, I do love when revolvers can blow an arm off. lol.

Death Proof was crappy, but Planet Terror was awsome, so it's no problem for me. I'm just happy, 'cuz there's cooking school this time, too.
