MSN Movies has posted the trailer for The Hitcher, arriving in theatres on January 19, 2007. Starring Sean Bean, Sophia Bush and Zachary Knighton, the film is a ramake of the 1986 horror movie in which a young couple pick up a hitchhiker (Sean Bean) in the desert, only to learn that he has murderous plans, which he blames on the young man.

Dave Meyers is directing the new film, which tracks the terrifying cross-country trajectory of Grace (Sophia Bush) and Jim (Zachary Knighton), two traveling college students who are tormented by the mysterious hitchhiker John Ryder, a.k.a. The Hitcher (Sean Bean).
