While some new additions have been made to the cast, it seems that many of the new regulars are back in place for one heavily-anticipated sequel. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro have all signed on to reprise their roles in Transformers 2.
A few new additions to the cast have been made, with Rainn Wilson signing on to play a college professor at Sam Witwicky's new college, although plans to add on Jonah Hill as Sam's college roommate fell through.
Transformers 2 will be written by Ehren Kruger, from a story by original Transformers writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. Filming has been under way in Los Angeles and the shoot moves to Philadelphia on June 2 and then goes overseas after that. |
