Bloody Disgusting is reporting that New Line Cinema is putting a new A Nightmare On Elm Street film into production.
That's right, all previous plans have been scrapped. There will be no prequel, and the studio is back at square one with the project. Ideas are currently being thrown around, but a solid story idea has yet to be locked down.
As of this moment, Freddy vs Jason 2 has been put on indefinite hold. Work on a new A Nightmare On Elm Street will most likely go forward after the Friday the 13th redo is completed. |
