Fangoria has learned that Sony will be releasing two versions of the DVD for The Grudge 2, Takashi Shimizu's sixth entry in his long-running Ju-On/The Grudge movie series on February 6. The disc will be issued in both its PG-13 theatrical cut and an unrated version running six minutes longer (containing "Extra Footage Too Scary to Be Shown in Theaters"), plus an unrated UMD for the Playstation Portable. The PG-13 disc will include the following extras:
• East Meets West featurette
• GRUDGE 2: Storyline Development featurette
• Ready When You Are, Mr. Shimizu featurette
• Reel change montage
• Deleted scenes
The unrated disc will have all that, plus more:
• Tales From THE GRUDGE With Sam Raimi Introduction
• Holding a Grudge: Kayako & Toshio featurette
Retail price for all three discs are $28.95.
