This movie is absolutley brillant.The acting is outstanding,especially from lizzy caplan who plays marlana.The way the actors portray their acting is truly memorable and unpredictable.The special effects are awesome and nail biting,especially the parasites as they are scary and deadly.The movie is also very inventive in the effects of the creatures and the styles of the deaths.This film has been carfully directed as there are very few films filmed only by video cameras.It could have flopped that way but it didnt.It is a classic movie that works both by an action film and a horror film [although mostly horror].The story is also very good,but i gave it a 4.5/5 because in the movie there are many unanswered questions,and many people would love a sequel, including me.Overall Cloverfield is brillant.
