"What can't you say about this movie, it's that damn good"

This movie is the shit, there's no need to talk about, it's a good movie, and enoughs been said, one side not though that is the Phantom of the Opera playing King Leonidous, and we share the same birthday, buy it on blu-ray and be amazed, 5 out of 5 (10/10)

Well I do what I can, when I can, one day I'll redo this review, more critically like my new reviews, but for now it stands as it is.

But take this movie for what it is, a guys, comic book, action movie, Troy is more story oriented, either you like it or you don't, doesn't matter not trying to sway anybody just giving my outlook.

It was just the opposite with me, troy wasn't as on point to the myth as the Odyssey did, plus they left out a lot of stuff that I remember from high school, but it wasn't a bad movie, 300 wasn't on point either, after seeing the reenactment on the History channel, I think, probably to make the movie better, cutting out the boring and adding random newness, but with 300, like 30 Days of Night, Sin City, etc. the whole atmosphere, cinematography, what have you was to get the appearance of a moving comic book, which I think they captured well, so to recap

Troy was Hollywood style
300 was artsy/Comic book style

well, i did not like it because it was based on history, and apparently comics, but it did not resemble its true history. now, you may say that other movies have tweaked the story from the actual history, so forget that point. but also i did not like the fact that there were monsters and the whole CGI theme was irritating. it did not make the movie more interesting or better, but just more plain stupid. also the acting was ok, not impressive, but not corny or terrible. what i did not like was how the persians looked, which was weird and basically everything with graphics and monsters and characters. that is why i preferred a movie like Troy, because it was more realistic with really great cast, amazing visuals, superb directing and kinda stuck to its history.
i have to say that i did like the ending of 300, because it kinda relates to the U.S. and Iraq, with the idea of sending more troops (spartans) to war. some of the fight scenes were interesting and cool, but not much.

Nor do many other people, like my brother, because the wife wasn't in the comic book so he thought she wasn't need, (I also didn't realize who she was until I saw Gladiator again) but you can back it up, and I know you've reviewed movies unlike Johnny, who brings nothing to table, so lets see what you've brought, I see we agree on some movies, from your profile what's you thought on this movie.
