Hiro gets back to Japan and using Issac's comic book he persuades Ando to help him save the world. They go back to the US. Nathan says officially that his brother is crazy and it upsets Pete, who is struggling to fly again. Claire gets killed and wakes up during the autopsy and Matt sees a mysterious man while helping to investigate the murders from last episode. Meanwhile, Mohinder discovers a strange apartment and Niki drives her son to his grandmother where we learn that Niki's husband is wanted for murder. [Edit]

The line "forgive me father, for I have sinned" is a variant on the opening line of the Catholic rite of confession (it's more often "bless me father, for I have sinned"). This, coupled with an image posted on NBC.com of an unaired scene from Genesis showing a photograph of an altar boy seen near the Paul Sylar birth announcement in Chandra's apartment in Chennai led some to speculate that Sylar has some sort of ties to the Church. After Nathan's speech, he says to his body guards, "He turns around to the other one and says, 'Holy Cow, a talkin' dog!'". This is the punchline to a popular joke. [Edit Info]
Audrey calls Matt "Carnac," referring to his ability to read minds. Carnac is the comic psychic played by Johnny Carson—he could "read" questions on a card inside a sealed envelope and give a humorous answer to the question prior to opening the envelope. [Edit Info]
